In early September, CarX Street developers released a major update for the game, Redline Shift, featuring new mechanics, content, and improvements.
For example, players can now participate in a new "drag race" mode, where power, tuning, and reaction time are key: "Warm up your tires and watch for the starting signal – the Cold Start and Zero Yon club bosses are already waiting."
Additionally, a permanent quest system, "Street Pass," is available. By completing weekly and daily challenges, players can level up and earn rewards.
Profile and character (driver) customization has also become available, and the Styling Atelier introduced carbon fiber parts.
In the premium add-on Street Pass: Stage 1, the developers introduced four new car models – TAL, DN2, MLN, and CC8.
Another add-on, Midnight Rush, includes the Sunset Bay region – a port area with wide streets, long straights for testing top speed, and road construction sections. A new drag club, Zero Yon, and several cars will also be available.
The developers also fixed a specific issue where connecting keyboards with magnetic switches could prevent logging into the game.
