Russian developer to release full version of Effulgence RPG with character graphics in September

On September 10, Effulgence RPG, a turn-based party role-playing game with 3D graphics entirely built from text characters, will be released from early access on Steam.

Effulgence RPG, after two years of development, will be released from early access on September 10 at 8:00 PM Moscow time. The game combines party turn-based combat and 3D graphics made of text characters.

In Effulgence RPG, landscapes, creatures, machines, and effects are built from characters assembled into three-dimensional forms. The action takes place in an unusual science fiction world.

Defeated enemies break down into particles that can be used in a matter printer to create weapons and equipment. New equipment can even be printed during combat.

The player controls a group of four heroes in turn-based battles. Each has their own abilities, and weapons, cartridges, and mechanisms allow them to adapt to enemies and bosses.

The playthrough takes about 5–7 hours. The game also features three types of mini-games, bosses, and an atmospheric soundtrack. Effulgence RPG will be released on PC on Steam – the game is currently in early access.
