Codemasters has released update 1.025 for F1 25, adding the full 2026 Formula 2 season, updated F1 content, and a number of changes to handling, career, and steering wheel support.
The main new feature is the F2 2026 season with all official teams, drivers, and cars. For F1, cars, sponsor logos, and special liveries have been updated, which will be available in the coming weeks via in-game mail. Some team principals have also been updated.
Changes have also affected physics. Boost now works on wet tracks, and DRS and Straight Mode are only active when the throttle pedal is pressed more than 90%. Race direction messages and car and track details have been corrected.
In career mode, tire allocation has been improved, errors with driver recognition and PitCoin have been fixed. Completing the F2 season now gives a bonus for starting an F1 career.
For steering wheels, responsiveness has been improved, Force Feedback issues have been fixed, and support for new Simagic devices has been added.
