The Witcher 3 Fans Massively Flocked to The Blood of Dawnwalker - Analysts

The Blood of Dawnwalker has attracted The Witcher 3 fans: 58% of players of the new combat RPG previously played CD Projekt RED's hit.

Rebel Wolves' first game was released last week and had a strong start. The project has been associated with The Witcher 3 from the very beginning, as the studio is headed by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, the game director of that RPG.

Alinea Analytics studied what else The Blood of Dawnwalker owners played on Steam. It turned out that 58% of new game players are also familiar with The Witcher 3. This is the highest figure among the analyzed premium games.

The result is not surprising: The Blood of Dawnwalker uses a dark fantasy world, RPG systems, dynamic sword combat, and a story that reacts to player decisions. At the same time, Rebel Wolves added its own ideas, including time as a resource.

The game has not yet received as high ratings as The Witcher 3, although it has attracted a significant portion of its audience. The studio is considering creating a sequel.
