Currently, KOEI TECMO GAMES is developing not only a game based on "Attack on Titan" – Attack on Titan 3 / A.O.T. 3, but also a project based on "The Apothecary's Monologue" franchise. Recently, the developers published a trailer for The Apothecary Diaries: The False Imperial Brother with a selection of gameplay footage.
The authors define the genre as an "investigative adventure." The main character, Maomao, will have to use her intellect and knowledge to solve mysteries:
Create medicines from herbs and use your insight to unravel the mysteries of the "Five Enigmas" and "Five Curses" – two chains of strange phenomena and conspiracies sowing chaos in the inner chambers of the palace, the entertainment district, and the streets of the capital.
Players will be able to explore the surroundings to collect herbs and other ingredients, as well as go fishing.
