News 0

Bloodborne has not yet received a remake or remaster, and a PC version of the game has not been officially released. However, thanks to the shadPS4 emulator, PC gamers not only got the opportunity to play FromSoftware's game but also to refine it themselves.

An update for the unofficial “PC remaster” of Bloodborne was recently released. Modder under the nickname fromsoftserve said that it adds dynamic shadows to all objects in the game, the mod also changes “gparams” settings to increase shadow draw distance and improve stability. In addition, Parallax occlusion mapping has been added for many surfaces (for better self-shadowing definition), new point light sources have been added for many objects, such as candles, lamps, etc.

This update, the modder says, includes new materials for Hunter's Dream and most of central Yharnam. He created many new shininess maps for surfaces and reworked existing ones: some have reduced specular reflection, others increased.

The “BB PC Remaster” modification by fromsoftserve is distributed free of charge via Nexus Mods.

The modder published a new trailer for update 1.01, which can be viewed at the following link.
