Crash Bandicoot Turns 30 - Xbox Did Almost Nothing for the Anniversary

News 0

Crash Bandicoot was released on PS1 on September 9, 1996, in the USA, and the PAL version appeared on November 8 of the same year. Many players for a long time called the funny marsupial predator a "fox cub".

The rights to the series created by Naughty Dog now belong to Activision, which has been part of Microsoft since 2023. However, for Crash Bandicoot's 30th anniversary, no new installment, which many fans were hoping for, was announced.

The only anniversary event was the opportunity to get a Crash Bandicoot skin in Fortnite for 1500 V-bucks. That's where the celebratory activities ended – fans of the series clearly expected more.
