Recently, Gamemode One studio announced a new add-on for Minecraft. Mojang Studios' official partner wants to offer players an unusual multiplayer experience.
The authors ask the question, "What if you could play with others even without an Internet connection?" and immediately provide an answer – they published a teaser on social media with an example of their new modification in action.
A live player picks up a special device and then opens the AI player control panel. These AI Players can be invited to your world (several at once) or blocked. They are supposed to mimic the behavior of other users.
AI technologies are actively developing now, so some players, when mentioning "AI," think of completely different things. The mod developers clarified that in this case, "it's more like AI from old video games. The same as used for other mobs in Minecraft."
This modification for Minecraft is expected to be released on September 15 – it will appear in the Minecraft Marketplace. The developers clarified that it will be available "on any platform where Minecraft: Bedrock Edition can be played."
