A separate version of Arc Raiders was prepared for the Chinese market. Information about its features reached players in the West — they began to envy users from China, as the regional Tencent version received a number of interesting innovations.
Arc Raiders is a PvPvE shooter: players go on a raid and can encounter not only AI-controlled robot enemies, but also other people who can be friendly or aggressive.
Some Arc Raiders fans have long urged Embark Studios to add it to the game. The international version has not yet received it, but in China, players were offered something similar. By default, everyone in a match is friendly, but you can switch to PvP — in which case the player will have a red indicator. Judging by the comments, many players in the West liked this concept.
Rumors are circulating in the Arc Raiders community that Embark Studios is now thinking about introducing a PvE mode into the international version of the game:

The next major update for Arc Raiders, "Frozen Trails," is planned for release in October.
