Demon's Souls and Astro Bot Launched on PS5 Emulator, Gameplay Reached

Performance has improved slightly, but it's still far from perfect.

Recently, tech enthusiasts managed to run the Demon's Souls remake on PC using a PlayStation 5 emulator called KyTyPS5. At the time, performance was not very good – the game was only delivering a few FPS.

The emulator developers continued their work, and soon new KyTyPS5 tests began to appear online: in Demon's Souls, performance sometimes increased by almost 1000% – instead of 2 FPS, the frame rate in gameplay could reach 18 FPS.

However, Demon's Souls still runs very unstably: the author of the Unreal Gaming YouTube channel tried to run through a location and engaged in combat – all this time, he observed an average of 1 to 5 FPS.

Another highly anticipated PlayStation 5 exclusive, Astro Bot, was also successfully launched on the KyTyPS5 emulator. Gameplay is also accessible, but the game lags and has graphical bugs. GAMER NO 1 also conducted tests for Pacman, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and the anime fighting game Bleach Rebirth Of Souls.
