At BlizzCon 2026, the creators of World of Warcraft unveiled a teaser for The Last Titan. This expansion will be the finale of the "Worldsoul Saga," which began several years ago and includes the previous add-ons The War Within, as well as Midnight.

The final chapter of the "World-Soul Saga" — the The Last Titan expansion — will be the culmination of over twenty years of Warcraft history. It will conclude this grand narrative and lay the foundation for the future of the universe.
The teaser's end indicated a release window of "2027." Details about the add-on are promised to be shared early next year.
An image of the World of Warcraft layout for the Xbox controller also appeared online. Some players speculate that the game might be released on consoles.
In addition, Blizzard Entertainment published a development roadmap for World of Warcraft. A major update, WoW Midnight: Eclipse, is planned for "winter 2026-2027." The game will add new quests, an exploration zone, a raid, a dungeon, a lair, expeditions, a legendary dagger for spellcasters, and the "Paladin" class for the Forsaken, Night Elves, and Trolls.
