The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake will run at 60 FPS without DLSS and, according to Digital Foundry's analysis, does not use Unreal Engine 5, while the game can render at a maximum of 1080p.
Digital Foundry studied the published gameplay fragments, so the specialists will make final conclusions after full testing. They have not yet found any signs of DLSS use, and the interface resolution can reach 1440p.
Nintendo has almost completely reworked the visual part of the game: improved materials and locations, reduced loading times, updated animations and sound effects, added symphonic music and full voice acting in extended scenes. The day-night cycle now also works in cities.
The controls have also changed: Link will be able to jump and run using new buttons, and the right analog stick controls the camera. The Threads of Time system will allow tracking progress and the next objective, and learned melodies can be hummed. Digital Foundry's final verdict will appear after the game's release.
