This month, Escape from Tarkov developers plan to release another update for the game, which will introduce a competitive Leagues system.
Battlestate Games studio published a new Leagues teaser and reminded how they will work:
Each week you will compete with 50 players of the same rank. The top 25 by earned experience will advance and compete in the next rank the following week. Any in-game action that grants experience helps you progress.
For the first achievement of a rank, players in Escape from Tarkov will be able to receive a corresponding reward. If the rank is lowered, the reward will not be taken away — the developers clarified that “these rewards will stay with you forever.”
Also, the authors of Escape from Tarkov implemented several balancing fixes:
- The cost of unlocking access to the Lighthouse location within the “Tour” story was reduced to 8000 dollars.
- On the Shoreline, Streets of Tarkov, and Interchange locations, the spawn chance of Black Division has been increased to 35%.
In addition, an in-game survey was presented: players' opinions on seasonal modifiers were asked, and they were invited to share their ideas. As a reward, survey participants were offered a “Document Case” and a “Black Division Gear Crate.”
