Pre-order for new Space Marine sets for Warhammer 40,000 and their Codex opens on September 19

This week, people will be able to purchase sets for the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game featuring Vanguard Veterans and Outriders, Intercessors, Eradicators, and more. It will also be possible to buy "Codex: Space Marines" and Mike Vincent's novel "Helbrecht: The Sin of Hope" in three editions.

Games Workshop announced that fans of the Adeptus Astartes from the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game will be able to pre-order on September 19, 2026. The Space Marine Captain on a "Raider" pattern combat motorcycle set will become available.

The set includes five head options, a power sword, a thunder hammer, and a plasma pistol (the motorcycle can be assembled either in motion or stationary). It will be possible to purchase a Vanguard Outriders set, containing three motorcyclists with power swords or thunder hammers, seven unhelmeted heads and three helmeted heads, and many additional pouches and accessories.

It will be possible to buy a squad of Vanguard Veterans with jump packs, a squad of Intercessors, as well as a miniature of the experienced Space Marine Kai Konorius, who fought alongside Marneus Calgar and Chaplain Cassius.

Separate sets with fighters from the "Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon" starter box will go on sale. The first includes a Chaplain with a jump pack, an Ancient with a banner, and three Eradicators; the second includes several Eradicators; and the third includes a "Landspeeder."

It will be possible to pre-order "Codex: Space Marines." Three options are available: hardcover, softcover, and a limited edition, which will include a magnetic panel with the emblems of six chapters, a metal Terminator Cross, and art prints.

A themed pack containing 16 premium dice and a command set containing 94 reference cards and 24 double-sided tokens will be allowed. Readers will be able to purchase Mike Vincent's book "Helbrecht: The Sin of Hope" in a special edition and in standard hardcover. The special edition will be available for pre-order only from September 23.

In addition, it will be possible to purchase Rob Young's novel "Master of Rites" in paperback, the omnibus "Fire Dawn: Crusade of Vengeance" (novels – "Avenging Son" by Guy Haley, "Bone Gates" by Andy Clark, "Time of the Wolf" by Gav Thorpe) and the omnibus "Schism" (novels – "Malekith," "Shadow King" and "Caledor" by Gav Thorpe, the novella "Blood-Handed," the short story "Path of Darkness").
