Active Matter will surprise on Xbox consoles - the game's technical side is all good

Active Matter will be released on consoles on September 15, 2026, with beautiful graphics and stable 60 fps, and the game runs on Gaijin Entertainment's proprietary technology - Dagor Engine.

Testing of the Xbox versions of Active Matter from the Fuzion Xbox Testing channel has appeared. On Xbox Series X, the shooter runs at a stable 60 fps both during exploration and in battles, and the video's author calls the graphics level high. Xbox Series S also delivers a locked 60 fps, although the resolution and detail are lower.

Active Matter uses the Dagor Engine, which is also used in War Thunder and Enlisted. According to the author, the game's example shows that developers should abandon the generally less productive Unreal Engine 5 in favor of more efficient solutions.
