Collector's Edition of the "Haunted Mouse" Card Game to Be Released in Russia
Users in Russia will receive a collector's edition of the "Haunted Mouse" card game. In this project, they will have to play combinations, use lures, get rid of creepy visions, and collect coveted pieces of cheese.
Crowd Games publishing house announced that it will release a Russian-language collector's edition of the "Haunted Mouse" card game, which scored 7.1 out of 10 on the BoardGameGeek platform and, for some reason, received an age rating of 15+ there.
In this game, the mice Parm, Brie, Roquefort, Feta, and Cheddar wanted to sleep peacefully in a secluded old house, but they are tormented by nightmares. To wake up as soon as possible and enjoy fragrant cheese, they will have to get rid of all the local ghosts of cats, snakes, owls, and hawks.
A game for 2–5 players in "Haunted Mouse" lasts 2–5 rounds, and players need to get rid of all nightmare cards in their hand. There's a catch: their order cannot be changed.
The user plays combinations of cards (sets of identical values or suits and sequences of increasing or decreasing values), and opponents can respond with a stronger combination of the same type – this allows getting rid of cards.
If a player does not have a suitable combination, then they will have to draw a card from the lure area prepared by opponents, or from the common deck. In addition, if someone played a combination before you, then at the moment of your turn, you can add any number of available lure cards to your hand cards anywhere in the combination.
For example, you play 4-6-8 from your hand, and then add 5 and 7 from lures (a 4-5-6-7-8 sequence is ready). Get rid of cards – you wake up before everyone else and get more pieces of cheese. The rest get less and less. The goal is to collect a perfect cheese wheel of 7 pieces and finally get rid of creepy visions.
The start of sales for the "Haunted Mouse" board game is scheduled for the end of 2026.
