Hot Toys has made changes to the 1/6 scale Ellen Ripley figure from the movie "Aliens": the team improved the head sculpt and updated the upper body (it is now silicone with seamless shoulder joints).
A figure of the "Caterpillar" P-5000 power loader, also in 1/6 scale, was also announced. In certain places, it will be available for pre-order for 2530 Hong Kong dollars (27,158 rubles), and a set with Ripley and the loader for 3500 Hong Kong dollars (37,570 rubles).
The loader, with 18 points of articulation, is 51.5 cm high, 32 cm wide, and 37 cm long. The collectible features articulated mechanical arms, legs, and gripping claws, an opening protective cage, movable joysticks, an operator's seat with a backrest, and a functional seat belt system.
For even greater realism, the model is equipped with USB-powered LED lighting on both the upper beacon and inside the protective cage. The main advantage is that the loader is perfectly scaled and designed so that the Ellen Ripley figure can be seated inside it.
The 30-centimeter Ellen Ripley figure from the aforementioned set has 18 points of articulation, a head with movable eyes and the likeness of actress Sigourney Weaver, 8 interchangeable hands, a white T-shirt, a gray tank top, gray-blue trousers, sneakers, a dark gray sock (interchangeable with the right sneaker), a shoulder rig for grenades, a wristwatch, and a stand in the form of a metal grated floor with the "Aliens" movie logo and the character's nameplate.
The release of the "Caterpillar" P-5000 power loader and the set is expected in Q3-Q4 2027.
