The release of Silent Hill: Townfall is approaching, and a special trailer dedicated to the PlayStation 5 version has been published online.
Sony announced that console players will be able to experience the game world in 4K resolution, enjoy "shocking sound" with 3D audio, use the DualSense controller's motion sensor when adjusting the in-game signal, and feel the action thanks to haptic feedback.
Adaptive triggers are also utilized – they are used during shooting, as well as when the hero engages in close combat.
In addition, the developers of Silent Hill: Townfall have published the release map:
- The game is planned to be released on PlayStation 5 at midnight on September 24th
- The PC release is expected at 7 AM Moscow time
- Owners of the premium edition will be able to start playing three days earlier
The events of Silent Hill: Townfall will unfold on Saint Amelie Island in 1996. The protagonist, Simon Ordell, discovers a town shrouded in thick fog. He will have to explore the world, hide from enemies, and survive.
