The roguelike game The Braves, which received positive reviews on Steam, is closing down - developers launched a farewell event
Servers are expected to be shut down in a few weeks.
In September, studio 101XP announced that it would soon close the The Braves project. This is a roguelike game where players, as various characters, must destroy hordes of monsters.
Payments in The Braves have already been disabled, and developers plan to shut down the servers on September 30 of this year:
During the existence of The Braves, it was you who made the planet Singora alive. You assembled squads, unlocked heroes and weapons, completed locations, created clans, discussed updates, and shared your impressions. Thanks to you, the game gained its own community and its own history.
Finally, the developers decided to hold an event: the GOODBYE promo code will allow players to receive in-game bonuses that will help them master the content before the servers close.
The developers position The Braves genre as "action roguelike". Players have access to many unique skills and weapons that will help in the fight against advancing enemies.
The Braves page on Steam is available at the following link (it is free-to-play). The game has 244 achievements: they are related to killing monsters, upgrading the forge, and completing levels at different difficulty settings.
