Apex Legends to get a Street Fighter 6 crossover - a new mode awaits players

Apex Legends will receive a Street Fighter 6 crossover on September 22, which will add a new mode, a special version of the Olympus map, abilities, gear, and cosmetic items.

As part of the event, Apex Legends x Street Fighter 6 will appear on all platforms. Players will enter a special version of Olympus with arcade machines, Blanka-chan balloons, and Luke's gym. Destroying Punch Trucks will allow players to collect tokens for the Fight Gauge and activate Fighter Form.

In this form, the game switches to a third-person view, unlocking new tactical abilities and super moves, enhancing melee combat, allowing players to block attacks, and increasing mobility. Survivors who make it to the last round will enter Showdown – a final battle where everyone activates Fighter Form, and previously eliminated players return to the fight.

Four Fighter Gear sets will also appear: Ryu will grant increased mobility and Shin Shoryuken, Chun-Li – wall running and Kikosho, Akuma – energy projectiles and Shun Goku Satsu, and Dhalsim – low gravity and Yoga Sunburst.
