Bayonetta will be the first new free character in the second year of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds support, and Sega will continue to regularly add characters and paid crossovers.
In the first year, 13 free characters from various Sega series were added to the game, including Hatsune Miku, Joker from Persona, Ichiban Kasuga, Goro Majima, AiAi, Arle, Axel, Amigo, and Classic Sonic.
Now, a similar model will be maintained in the second year. Bayonetta will be the first new character. Details about her appearance are promised to be revealed later.
Six paid crossovers were also released in the first year: with Minecraft, "SpongeBob SquarePants", Pac-Man, Mega Man, and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". In October, a set based on the animated series "Avatar" will be released.
Sega also announced a Year 2 Pass with six new paid collaborations. Godzilla and Evangelion have already been confirmed.
