The heroine of Liminal Point was mistaken for Claire Redfield - now the horror game is planned to be released in the same year as the Resident Evil Veronica remake

Recently, the creators of the survival horror game Liminal Point once again made their presence known. HideWorks studio announced that they had decided to postpone the game's release until next year.

The developers explained that during the development process, Liminal Point became more ambitious than originally planned. They need additional time for refinement and optimization:

Since the first announcement, the game has grown significantly: it now features many more combat options, a crafting system, and more enemies than envisioned in the initial concept. We want to give ourselves enough time to properly complete development, polish and optimize the game, and generally try to make it truly high-quality, rather than rushing for a faster release.

In addition, the creators of Liminal Point noted that player feedback helped improve the project. This also affected the development speed:

Many new features appeared at the request of players — for example, the ability to reassign controls. Just implementing this, which was not in our initial plans, took several weeks.

The developers also announced that they decided to release the game on consoles as well. The development of other versions also required resources (the project team consists of only two people).

It is noteworthy that the remake of Resident Evil Veronica is also scheduled for release in 2027. Previously, some players confused art featuring the heroine of Liminal Point with Claire Redfield from Capcom's franchise games.
