In September, fans of Rockstar Games celebrate the 13th anniversary of Grand Theft Auto V. Modders marked this date by presenting a new version of the NaturalVision Enhanced graphics modification, which significantly improves the visual quality in the GTA V Enhanced version.
Players are offered "physically accurate" realistic lighting and shading, and underwater image quality is noticeably higher. Modders also introduced volumetric clouds and added subsurface scattering with light transmission.
In addition, police sirens will now cast realistic shadows on the environment and reflect correctly.
An overview trailer of the changes was published on the Razed Mods YouTube channel. To demonstrate, modders recreated scenes in the style of GTA VI promotional materials.
The NaturalVision Enhanced modification for Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced is distributed via the Razed Mods website.
Rockstar Games itself is currently preparing for the release of the new installment of the Grand Theft Auto VI franchise – the game is expected to be released on November 19, 2026, only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. There is no information yet about the release date or release window for the PC version.
