Hyperkin opened pre-orders for SupaBoy in two new colors: for fans of portable consoles with cartridges
Retro gamers who have SNES cartridges lying around can now pre-order the Hyperkin SupaBoy portable console in crimson or gray.
The original SupaBoy portable retro console from Hyperkin was released back in 2011, and then in 2016, an improved version of this device appeared with a larger 4.3-inch screen and several much-needed ergonomic updates.

Now it has become known that Hyperkin employees have opened pre-orders for this console in two new colors - Crimson and Prime (crimson and gray). Currently, each model can be purchased for $129.99 (11,011 rubles).

The console retains its design, characteristics, display, ports, and battery capacity. It also has regional compatibility and supports flash cartridges, Game Genie, and the Super GAME BOY adapter.

The AV output allows you to connect to a large screen at home at any time, and the front ports support original Super Nintendo gamepads for co-op play.

If you hold the brightness button for three seconds, you can switch the aspect ratio between 4:3 and 16:9. In addition, there is compatibility with original cartridges, so you can safely use genuine SNES and Super Famicom cartridges.

Shipments of the Hyperkin SupaBoy in these two colors are expected to begin on October 28, 2026.
