After 22 years, Valve continues to release updates for Counter-Strike: Source

The developers haven't forgotten about the game.

Recently, Valve once again remembered Counter-Strike: Source. The competitive online shooter, released in 2004, received another update.

This is purely a technical update: it doesn't add new content but aims to fix a couple of technical issues.

Firstly, Valve fixed an interface overlay bug in the "Create Server" dialog box.

Secondly, the developers fixed a bug that caused incorrect display of clan tags and in-game achievement notifications.

Earlier this summer, Valve released a more substantial update for Counter-Strike: Source. At that time, the developers not only fixed a number of technical issues but also repaired asset loading on the Linux operating system, and improved the stability and security of the online shooter.

After many years, Counter-Strike: Source still enjoys a certain popularity. This week, the game's peak online player count exceeds 3,000 (it is still distributed as a premium project, not free-to-play like Counter-Strike 2).
