Gears of War: E-Day is ready for release - final PC requirements revealed

Gears of War: E-Day has officially gone "gold," and The Coalition has unveiled the game's final system requirements ahead of its October 6 release.

The developers confirmed the completion of the main production phase and thanked fans for their many years of support for the series. Early access will begin on October 1, with the full release on October 6, 2026, on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Xbox and Steam. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass from day one.

Following the July multiplayer open beta, The Coalition continued to improve stability and performance across various configurations. An SSD and 115 GB of free space will be required to run the game.

All presented profiles include image scaling, including settings for 1080p. For 4K gaming at over 60 FPS, the studio recommends RTX 5070 Ti and Ryzen 7 7800X3D graphics cards.
