Control Resonant will showcase advanced graphics - PS5 Pro will unleash Remedy's game

Control Resonant was tested on PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X, and Series S, and it was the PS5 Pro that was able to unleash the game's most advanced graphical capabilities.

The sequel to Control transports Dylan Faden to a distorted Manhattan, and the Northlight engine has to work with larger semi-open spaces. On the base PS5 and Xbox Series X, two modes are available: performance with 60 FPS and a base resolution of about 864p with AMD FSR upscaling, and quality with a resolution of about 1260p and 30 FPS. There is no hardware ray tracing in these modes.

PS5 Pro uses PSSR upscaling. In performance mode, the console reconstructs the image to 4K and maintains 60 FPS. Quality mode adds hardware ray tracing for shadows and reflections at 30 FPS. There is also a balanced mode, which may lose smoothness in the most demanding scenes.
