New game from Mortal Kombat creators leaked - Batwoman and Supergirl found in it

NetherRealm Studios' new game, presumably related to the return of the Injustice series, may have leaked along with the first characters. Batwoman and Supergirl are mentioned in the stunt performer's materials.

The MP1ST editorial team discovered information about a new NetherRealm Studios project in the resume of a stunt performer who regularly worked with NetherRealm on motion capture. The document also mentions Jake Huang, an animator and stunt coordinator at the studio, who previously worked on Mortal Kombat 1.

Supergirl's appearance would not be a surprise: in Injustice 2 she played an important role and eventually turned away from Superman, joining the restored Justice League. Batwoman is more interesting – she has not appeared in the main games of the series before. In the Injustice comics, Kate Kane was killed by Superman, so her presence may indicate changes in the story.

NetherRealm has not officially announced Injustice 3, so the information remains a rumor. MP1ST also reports on possible game testing in California.
