Creator Played Final Fantasy VII Revelation 46 Times - Game is Bigger Than Rebirth

Final Fantasy VII Revelation will offer over 100 hours of gameplay, and the game's size on console and PC disks will be around 200 GB.

Project director Naoki Hamaguchi spoke about the scale of the final part of the updated story of Cloud and his team. According to the developer, a full playthrough with exploration of side content and the world will easily exceed 100 hours, making the game even larger than the already massive Rebirth.

Hamaguchi has already played the game 46 times in various test versions, using every free minute, from breaks between interviews to business trips with a controller in hand.

Due to the enormous number of mechanics, in some playthroughs, the director skipped battles, focusing on the narrative and asset verification.

The game will take up about 200 GB, so physical versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will only receive one disc, and the remaining files will have to be downloaded from the network.

Hamaguchi notes that the amount of data itself does not make the game outstanding: the team is proud of the well-developed script and devotes more time to other members of Cloud's party.
