Microsoft acquired Mojang and Minecraft for $2.5 billion in 2014, and the brand continues to attract hundreds of millions of players worldwide. Xbox is preparing Minecraft LIVE with a presentation of mysterious new features, which will take place on September 26 at 8:00 PM Moscow time.
GameSpot claims to have received information about a possible major announcement. “If our assumptions are correct, this could be the most important Minecraft update in 15 years,” the publication writes.
According to GameSpot, Mojang may introduce the Sift dimension. It is known that it will appear in Minecraft Dungeons 2, which will be released on September 29. If the rumor is confirmed, this will be the first new dimension in Minecraft since the introduction of the End in 2011.
Currently, three main dimensions are available in the game: the Overworld, the Nether, and the End.
