Fallout New Vegas: Online Released - Fans Added New Territories and MMO Mechanics to Obsidian's Game
Enthusiasts decided to expand the game on their own.
Fallout: New Vegas modders are testing a large-scale project that turns Obsidian Entertainment's game into something resembling an MMO game — new content and mechanics inherent in multiplayer projects are being added to the project.
The New Vegas: Online project was founded by Doomy. The Fallout: New Vegas modification itself is free:
Unlike [NV:MP - New Vegas Multiplayer], subscriptions in NV:O do not provide the user with game-breaking resources or content, but only cosmetic items, small convenience improvements, and modest monthly bonuses.
Players in New Vegas: Online will be able to explore new territories; modders have synchronized systems related to NPC characters, as well as combat mechanics and loot. In addition, quests have been fully synchronized, and a co-op game mode is under development.
To access New Vegas: Online, you need a licensed Steam copy of Fallout: New Vegas, as well as access to the developers' Discord* channel. The project itself is currently in test mode: modders continue to work on content, mechanics, and fix bugs.
