Control Resonant is scheduled for a full release on PC and consoles on September 24, but there is also premium early access. However, the new game from Remedy Entertainment studio has unconventional premium access.
Only those who purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition on PlayStation 5 were able to jump into Control Resonant 48 hours earlier — on other platforms, the expanded edition does not grant the right to early play.
But recently, an unofficial “early access” to Control Resonant started on PC. A cracked version of the game has already been leaked online, a day before the regular release. Pre-loading on PC on Steam has not started yet, so the leak cannot be attributed to “someone forgetting to encrypt the build.” The source of the leak has not yet been disclosed.
Chronologically, Control Resonant is a sequel, centered on Dylan Faden, the brother of Control's protagonist. He spent many years imprisoned within the walls of the Federal Bureau of Control, and now his former overseers have tasked him with “confronting a mysterious entity that distorts the fundamental laws of our reality.”
