The developers of Final Fantasy Resonance spoke about Zidane, who will join the team, using twin blades that combine into a spear to hold back enemies and fulfill the promise made to Princess Garnet.
Zidane is a thief whose chance encounter with Princess Garnet led to an important promise between them. The hero relies on agility and a swift fighting style, attacking opponents from the shadows and quickly retreating.
If enemies manage to corner him, Zidane is capable of using the power of wind and powerful magic. His two blades combine into a spear, turning the hero into a dangerous close-combat fighter.
Outside of battles, Zidane appears friendly and outgoing, noticeably different from the more reserved Squall. The developers also showed him in a new trailer.
