The game was released in March and received another major update. Wildlife introduced fishing, a new mini-game in the project about delivering cargo using pack animals to the most remote corners of Mongolia.
The heroine also received a diary where she records the animal species encountered during her travels. The update added gazelles, sheep, and donkeys, and saddlebags can now be reinforced with protective material to keep the most valuable cargo safe.
Wildlife became another step towards a console release. Studio Aesir confirmed the release of The Legend of Khiimori on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2. The premiere could take place as early as 2027.
The game is in early access on Steam and has received 2297 reviews, 83% of which are positive recommendations.
