Recently, players remembered Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe again — a fighting game released in 2008 only on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. For the first time, the project has become fully available on PC.
An enthusiast under the nickname KawaiiBunga made an unofficial PC port of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. The port was done by static recompilation of the original game's source code using ReXGlue.
According to KawaiiBunga, on a PC with a GTX 1650 SUPER level graphics card, the PC port of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe runs at 60 FPS, the game runs smoothly, sound is played correctly, and gamepads are supported.
KawaiiBunga published the source code of the “MKVDCU-Recomp” project on GitHub. The archive does not include game files, which are protected by copyright (players will need to provide an image of the game for Xbox 360).
Recently, Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon reacted to rumors about future NetherRealm Studios projects. His answer convinced some fans that the “Injustice 3” project exists in some form.
