EA Sports FC 27 received its first patch - developers fixed controls, career, and The Grounds mode

News

Developers have begun to gradually fix identified issues.

In September, EA Sports FC 27 was released on PC and consoles. The creators of the football simulator reviewed feedback and began making adjustments to the game.

Previously, they promised not to make large-scale changes to the gameplay at launch. Patch 1.0.1 includes a set of fixes for The Grounds mode, career, and also addresses a number of technical issues.

Developers stated that in realistic gameplay (career and quick matches), the default values for the active defense sprint speed slider and active defense sprint were “moderately increased.” These changes do not affect competitive gameplay.

In 11v11 The Grounds matches, the impact of player fatigue on stamina throughout the match was increased.

In addition, the creators of EA Sports FC 27 eliminated various errors that disrupted the stable operation of the game, and also fixed an issue where, in some cases, players with custom control settings could not perform the desired commands.

Other fixes:

  • Fixed an error where, when selecting a player who did not meet the conditions of the “Filter Development Plans by Player” option, some interface elements stopped functioning.
  • Fixed an issue where some players could not join a match using the “on-the-fly” join game functionality.
  • Fixed a bug where in street football matches in The Grounds, players could not perform 5-star special moves, even if the avatar had the corresponding skill unlocked and equipped.
  • Addressed an issue with high response time in league matches.
