Obsidian has not canceled the add-on for The Outer Worlds 2 - development continues

A user under the nickname SGTPICKLES77 drew the community's attention to the response from a representative of The Outer Worlds 2 development team. According to him, the DLC has not been canceled – work continues as before:

The authors did not disclose any specific details of the upcoming add-on. It is known that there are plans to release “two story expansions”.
The Outer Worlds 2 was released in October last year and received “mostly positive” reviews, with a rating of 73% after almost nine thousand user reviews.
Obsidian Entertainment released the last patch for the game in the summer of this year. Then the developers of The Outer Worlds 2 fixed various technical problems, introduced a full-fledged photo mode, the ability to change the character's appearance on board the ship, and transmogrification.
