The new Leagues Mode in eFootball allows players to choose a club from one of 25 leagues in Europe, South America, Asia, and Oceania and play a full season with home and away matches. In supported countries, promotion and relegation between the first and second divisions have been introduced, and results are affected by player fatigue and yellow card suspensions. Players can also track top scorers and assist leaders, and up to four players can complete the entire campaign together.
The update adds 2026/2027 season rosters and significantly changes gameplay. Goalkeepers should react more naturally to different types of shots, defenders less often leave opponents unmarked, and passes more frequently reach their intended target. Konami has also improved difficulty levels, stability, and tournament settings, adding the ability to change match duration and tempo.
