Marvel's Wolverine launched on PC two weeks after PlayStation 5 release - thanks to an emulator

Tech enthusiasts have already started experimenting with the emulator.

Marvel's Wolverine was released in mid-September. The new game from Insomniac Games was released exclusively on the PlayStation 5 console.

However, some tech enthusiasts have already been able to play the new exclusive on PC. This became possible thanks to a PlayStation 5 emulator. Marvel's Wolverine testing was conducted on a PC with a GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card, which worked in conjunction with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor.

Currently, Marvel's Wolverine in the menu shows about 8 unstable FPS. The gameplay itself has not yet been reached — a recording of the test can be viewed at the following link.

This summer, Demon's Souls began to run on the PlayStation 5 emulator. At first, it was not even possible to get to the gameplay, as the game crashed in the menu. Then, when it was possible to play a little, there was a severe performance problem — the game often showed literally a few (or even one) FPS. However, after a couple of months, the Demon's Souls remake on PC via the PlayStation 5 emulator can be played at 40-50 FPS, so players hope that Marvel's Wolverine can follow a similar path.
