Preliminary List of 10 Xbox Game Pass Games for October Announced

Microsoft has confirmed 10 games for Xbox Game Pass in October, including Gears of War: E-Day, Neon Abyss 2, and Valor Mortis from the creators of Ghostrunner.

The main premiere of the month will take place on October 6 – Gears of War: E-Day will be released on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass from day one. The Coalition will send players many years back, to the beginning of the Locust invasion. Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago will once again be at the center of the story, and the developers promise to return to the more brutal and darker atmosphere of the first parts of the series.

On October 8, subscribers will get access to Neon Abyss 2, a sequel to the dynamic roguelike, and Echo Weaver. On October 13, Valor Mortis from One More Level studio, creators of Ghostrunner, will appear in the service. This is a first-person action game with soulslike elements, set in an alternate 19th-century Europe. Players will take on the role of a Napoleonic army soldier brought back to life.
