Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era received an update with a new mode that players have been waiting for since release
In late September, Unfrozen studio and Hooded Horse publisher announced the release of an update for Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era.
The game now features a function that some have dreamed of since the early access release — "alliances" are now available in HOMM: Olden Era. Players can team up and conquer PvE or PvP together.
The developers explained that they worked on the mode for a long time, as it required significant changes to the interface and internal game mechanics:
We wanted to make it as advanced as possible at this stage of development and take into account as many of your wishes as possible — in particular, we added the ability to constantly move simultaneously. No more waiting for your ally to finish their turn: you act in parallel and move towards victory in real time.
Players will not only be able to exchange resources but also request them. In addition, it will be possible to freely exchange armies between heroes and transfer artifacts. All this is also available by visiting "Strongholds" and using the "Pocket Dimension" spell.
If at least one of the players meets the victory conditions on the map, both will be declared winners. As HOMM: Olden Era develops, various scenarios, maps, and templates will receive alliance support.

The creators of Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era also urged players to leave feedback — it helps improve the game:
Leave us a review on Steam! We read them regularly — it's another important way to understand how you feel about the game. Reviews also help other players who might be interested in Olden Era. If you haven't left one yet — we would be very grateful!
Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era continues to be developed in Steam Early Access. The release date for the full 1.0 version has not yet been announced.
