The developers studied player feedback and fixed a number of issues.
In late September, Hello Games announced the release of the Cosmos 7.05 update for No Man's Sky. The developers thanked fans for their feedback on the issues encountered – it helps to quickly fix problems.
This update to No Man's Sky introduced “significant memory optimization changes” for PlayStation 5 consoles.
Also, a bug was fixed that prevented Nintendo Switch 1 and Switch 2 players from disabling vignette and scanline options. For PSVR1/2, errors related to rendering effects were eliminated.
In addition, the Hello Games team reported that they fixed issues with sound mixing; eliminated several critical errors that caused No Man's Sky to crash on various platforms. For example, a crash could occur due to a malfunction in the physics system.
