On LEGO Ideas — a crowdsourcing platform from the LEGO Group — user Liam Paradise showed an interesting set with arcade game machines. If his constructor gathers 10,000 community votes, LEGO will officially study such a creation and, possibly, even release it.
The entire set folds into the shape of a building and creates the impression of a real old-school arcade game room. Inside, you'll find a pinball machine, a claw grabber machine, a racing simulator, a rocket game, a shooting gallery for accuracy training, and a coin pusher.
Overview video of the set from the LEGOParadise YouTube channel
Pinball machine: you can pull the plunger to launch the ball onto the playfield, where you will need to use flippers to avoid obstacles. Claw grabber machine: you need to control the claw to pick up one of the toys inside, and then carefully bring it to the drop zone.
Racing simulator: you need to control the car and watch out for obstacles on the track, maneuvering between oncoming cars, road cones, and barriers. Rocket game: you will have to move the spaceship up and down to dodge stars while flying through space.
Shooting gallery for accuracy training: you need to shoot LEGO bricks at moving targets. Coin pusher: the player will drop coins and tokens onto a moving platform to push those in front.
Inspired by 80s retro-style arcades and amusement parks, this model also features a working gumball machine, a functional ATM that allows you to “withdraw cash,” and a vending machine that dispenses drinks at the push of a button.
All of this is built into a compact 32 × 32 stud building, making the set perfectly fit into LEGO cities. At the same time, each of the hall's walls unfolds so that both people and minifigures can easily access the inside and examine the complex mechanisms that bring such a model to life.
