Soon after the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster, PC and console players began to complain about various technical issues. Some also noted graphical bugs: for some, Geralt could turn black, and sometimes users noted that character faces and some objects looked clearly wrong.
Through experimentation, players found that the problem lies in the "blur" setting: after disabling it, the picture in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster becomes better.

CD Projekt RED community manager Marcin Momot said that the developers are investigating the problem and preparing a fix:
We are working to fix the "blur" effect issue on all platforms. We hope that the changes will be ready for the next update, but there are no details yet. We will announce more as soon as possible.
Over the past few days, patches with initial fixes have already been released for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster on PC and consoles. CD Projekt RED is studying feedback and continues to prepare for subsequent updates.
