In 2026, the developers of Gamedec - Definitive Edition from the Polish studio Anshar Studios celebrated the fifth anniversary of the cyberpunk detective game. In honor of this, a major update with new content and various improvements was introduced for the game.

Earlier, the authors of Gamedec held a vote — players were offered to choose characters to be included in the game. In the end, two girls won.

Liora Serrano — scenographer of sensory worlds. The heroine is described as an improviser who created sensory worlds capable of evoking carefully selected emotions through colors, textures, and sounds:

Liora left the industry after learning that one of her creations was being used to manipulate players. Now, as a gamedec, she has learned to look beyond outward appearances and notice hidden intentions where others see only a carefully staged spectacle.

Mara Vysotskaya — memory profiler. She is a curious former corporate memory profiler who reconstructed other people's memories for many years:

Learning that someone's mind could become the perfect crime scene, and then witnessing the truth being erased, Mara abandoned her career. As a gamedec, she trusts evidence, not people... even as she begins to doubt her own memories.

In addition, the developers of Gamedec reported that they updated the balance of professions to give players more freedom when creating their gamedec — a detective who investigates crimes in virtual worlds.

They also noted that characters have become more patient and lenient during conversations: «This reduces the number of situations where choosing a certain line could accidentally make further communication unavailable».

Gamedec - Definitive Edition is available on consoles and PC. Discounts on the main game and additional content will be valid until October 8. Russian translation is available.
