The release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster on consoles and PC was celebrated with a new promotional campaign. CD Projekt RED launched a Twitch Drops campaign, during which players can receive several digital gifts for watching streams.
The developers prepared a collection of several accessories: Fire Horse blinders, Fire Horse saddle, and Fire Horse saddlebags for Geralt's steed. However, the giveaway did not go as planned: players began reporting that the sent items never reached them.
Several days after the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster, CD Projekt RED support published a statement about the situation. The developers acknowledged the problem and confirmed they are working on a fix:
We have confirmed an issue where, in some cases, online rewards, including Twitch Drops and Bilibili Drops, may not appear in the game. If these items are visible in the main menu under the 'CD PROJEKT RED Account' section, it means they were correctly awarded, and you will be able to receive them once the issue is fixed in a patch.
Currently, the developers are preparing other patches for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster. Players are complaining about various technical issues, so significantly more requests than usual are coming into support.
