American Truck Simulator to Rework Nevada Cities - Screenshots of New Location Versions Shown

News

Some cities will be rebuilt from scratch.

The creators of the truck driver simulator American Truck Simulator have published a new diary dedicated to the rework of the state of Nevada. The developers plan to redesign the cities themselves, as well as the road network.

Currently, SCS Software invites players to evaluate new versions of some cities – Reno, Carson City, Elko, Winnemucca, and Ely. The authors of American Truck Simulator said that they have re-evaluated the city layouts, added more details, improved existing loading and unloading points for goods, and also prepared new ones. Some objects from the old version of Nevada have been recreated to meet modern quality standards.

As usual, these are “work in progress” screenshots, meaning they do not reflect the final quality of the content:

The developers of American Truck Simulator have not yet announced when they plan to release the update with the new version of Nevada.

Currently, SCS Software is running an event in ATS called “Cruising South Dakota” in honor of the release of the South Dakota expansion: players are invited to complete deliveries to/from cities in the state to receive various in-game rewards. The event will run until November 22, 2026.
