Pre-order for Mobapad M12 Pro controller for Switch 2 opens: a competitor to Nintendo's original Joy-Cons
Gamers with a Nintendo Switch 2 console now have the chance to pre-order the Mobapad M12 Pro controller, which features TMR Glide sticks, a comfortable ergonomic design, and mechanical buttons. The new product also includes a built-in NFC sensor capable of scanning Amiibo figures.
The Mobapad brand, owned by the Chinese company Guangzhou Xinxiang Culture Co., has opened pre-orders for the M12 Pro for Nintendo Switch 2 — a split Joy-Con type controller consisting of two independent halves.

You can buy it for $119.99 (9996 rubles). If you pay $135.99 (11,328 rubles), you will get not only the controller but also the MA21 holder, which combines the two independent halves of the M12 Pro into a single, full-sized, classic gamepad.

The MA21 not only holds the Joy-Cons together but also charges them during gameplay. Plus, for $149.99, you can purchase a set with the controller, holder, and a protective case for carrying and storing the device.

The new product features TMR Glide sticks, providing low-friction movement, zero edge contact, and adjustable dead zones for control, ABXY buttons, and a D-pad with OMRON microswitches (actuation travel — 1.0± mm, actuation force — 95 g ± 6 g, button lifespan — over 5,000,000 clicks).

The M12 Pro operates on Mobapad-developed linear motors, providing a wider range of vibration frequencies for richer and more detailed haptic feedback. Precise 9-axis tracking ensures a familiar motion control experience, like the Joy-Con 2, with smooth and responsive aiming and movement in supported Switch 2 games.

A built-in NFC sensor, located right next to the right joystick, allows scanning Amiibo. An 800 mAh battery on each side provides up to 20 hours of continuous gameplay. A mouse mode is present: precise control with ultra-low latency for smooth and responsive aiming.

There are customizable M1/M2 buttons. Dimensions (of one controller half): 58.72 × 116 × 47 mm. Each half weighs approximately 100 grams. Shipping of the Mobapad M12 Pro controller for Switch 2 is expected to start on October 28, 2026.
