Just a few months ago, such a scenario seemed almost impossible – now, the development of PS5 emulators has significantly accelerated. The AnyPS5 project has increased support for system libraries from 77.87% to 78.95%, and support for GPU shader instructions from 81.3% to 87.31%. Developers have already implemented over 1000 shader instructions.
The community's goal is to launch PS5 games on PC, study the console's architecture, and improve emulator compatibility. Some enthusiasts expect to achieve basic compatibility even before GTA VI's release, and then try to launch the game in the first week after its release.
For now, this is just a community ambition, not a confirmed possibility. Emulating a new and demanding game might prove significantly more challenging than further increasing AnyPS5's compatibility metrics.
