Thousands of Years of Gameplay and Billions of Enemies Killed: Developers Reveal Dying Light: The Beast Statistics

In its first year, Dying Light: The Beast players spent 11 thousand years in it, destroyed 8.6 billion enemies, and died 39 million times.

Dying Light: The Beast celebrated its first anniversary, and Techland revealed player statistics: in a year, they spent 11 thousand years in the game and died 39 million times, most often at the hands of Volatiles.

In total, players completed 1 billion quests, played 52 million game sessions, and destroyed 8.6 billion enemies. The Beast mode was used 345 million times.

1.7 million people played in co-op, spending over 4 thousand years there. Players also recharged flashlight batteries over 6 million times and managed to kill over 6.5 thousand Volatiles with pitchforks.

Most often, players crafted repair kits, and among supplies, they preferred drinks, water, and soda.

For the first anniversary, Techland also announced physical editions of Dying Light: The Beast. All of them contain the PS5 version, and orders can be placed until October 16. The game was released on September 18, 2025, on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
